We’re almost there. We spent last Saturday finishing up tweaks audio processing, levels and deviation. When we stopped, the new Motorola repeater was functioning as we designed.

So now our plan is to pretty up the wiring, get everything labeled and then plan the install! We’re hoping that we’ll be installing July 6th. So fingers crossed and be on the air listening!

]]> 147.12 Repeater Off The Air https://www.sgfrepeater.com/147-12-repeater-off-the-air/ Mon, 20 May 2013 01:17:01 +0000 http://www.sgfrepeater.com/?p=180 An over voltage issue with a power supply damaged the controller on the 147.12 repeater during the installation of a newly configured Motorola MSF5000.  Parts  are on order and we hope to have the new system on the air within a couple of weeks.  This was quite the unplanned event!

The repeater will likely be off the air until the June time frame. We are taking this unfortunate opportunity to re-rack the entire installation to make it more tidy and easier to work on.
